The adjustable single-piece diaphragm allows you to hear high and low frequency sounds on both sides of the chest for adults and children. The side designated for children converts to an open bell. Simply remove the single-piece diaphragm and replace it with a non-cold edge. The open bell remains free of dirt and debris by covering it with the small diaphragm. Additional details.
